Web design in Edmonton, built to bring you work

A website is not a brochure and it is not an art project. It is the thing that turns somebody who half-remembered your name into a phone call. We design and build sites for Edmonton business owners who need that to happen more often than it currently does.

Get a quote Builds start at $3,500. Fixed scope, fixed price, in writing.

Most small business websites fail at the same three points

We have rebuilt a lot of sites in this city, and the problems repeat with almost boring consistency.

It does not say what you do in the first three seconds. The header says something like “Solutions for a changing world” over a stock photo of a handshake. A visitor who does not already know you has to scroll and guess. Most will not.

It is not built for the phone. Over two thirds of local searches happen on mobile, usually on a phone with two bars in a truck outside a jobsite. If your homepage loads a 4MB hero image and the phone number is not tappable, you lost that lead before you knew they existed.

There is nothing to do on it. No obvious next step, no booking, no form that goes anywhere useful. The enquiry lands in an inbox nobody checks and dies there four days later when a competitor has already called them back.

None of that is a design problem. It is a strategy problem that shows up as a design problem, which is why handing it to somebody who only does design does not fix it.

What a 365 Marketing build includes

Every build, at every price point, includes all of this. There is no stripped-down tier where the important parts get removed.

  • Strategy first. Before anything is designed we work out who the site is talking to, what they need to see, and what one action we want them to take.
  • Custom design. Built around your business, your brand and your photos. Not a theme with the colours changed.
  • Copy written for you. Every page, written to sell. Included in the price.
  • Mobile first, genuinely. Designed on the phone layout first, then scaled up, because that is where your traffic is.
  • Speed. Compressed images, minimal scripts, sensible hosting. Slow sites lose customers and Google knows it.
  • Local SEO foundations. Title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, schema markup, a sitemap, and consistent name, address and phone details that match your Google Business Profile exactly.
  • CRM and forms wired in. Enquiries go into a system that follows up, not an inbox that forgets.
  • Analytics from day one, so you can see traffic, sources and conversions instead of guessing.
  • Accessibility basics. Real contrast, alt text, keyboard navigation, readable type sizes.
  • A handover walkthrough and every login, in writing.

What it costs to build a website in Edmonton

Most agencies will not put a number on a page. Here is ours, and the honest context around it.

  1. $800 to $2,000: the template tier. A Wix or Squarespace theme with your logo dropped in. Fine for a side project. It will not rank, it will not convert well, and the copy is usually yours to write.
  2. $3,500 to $10,000: the custom small business tier. This is where we work. Real strategy, custom design, professional copy, proper SEO setup, CRM integration. For most Edmonton trades, clinics, consultants and service businesses, this is the band that actually pays for itself.
  3. $10,000 and up: the complex build. E-commerce, memberships, multi-location, booking logic, custom integrations, large content migrations.

Our builds start at $3,500. The final number depends on page count, how much content needs writing, and whether anything unusual needs to be integrated. You get the scope, the timeline and the price in writing before we start, and we do not move the number afterwards unless you ask for something that was not in the scope.

The build process, start to finish

  1. Discovery call, 30 minutes. What the business does, who buys from you, what the site needs to accomplish, and what your deadline is. We tell you if we are the wrong fit.
  2. Scope and quote. Written. Page by page, with the timeline and the price. Nothing starts until you approve it.
  3. Content gathering. We tell you exactly what we need from you in one list: photos, logins, services, pricing if it is going on the site. This is the step that decides whether the timeline holds.
  4. Copy and design. You see the design and the written copy together, because judging a layout full of placeholder text tells you nothing. Two rounds of revisions included.
  5. Build and integrate. The site gets built, forms get connected to your CRM, analytics goes in, everything gets tested on real phones.
  6. Pre-launch review. You walk the whole site with us before it goes live. Typos, phone numbers, business hours, every link.
  7. Launch and handover. The site goes live, you get every login, and we walk you through editing it yourself.

Who this is for, and who it is not

It is a good fit if you are an established Edmonton-area business with customers already, your current site is embarrassing you or producing nothing, and you can make a decision without assembling a committee. Trades, clinics, professional services, consultants, coaches and local service businesses are our usual clients.

It is a bad fit if you are shopping purely on price, you want a hundred pages for $1,500, or you want somebody to take instructions without ever disagreeing with you. We are going to have opinions about your offer and your messaging, because that is where the results come from.

Local SEO is part of the build, not an upsell

A website nobody finds is an expensive business card. Every build ships with the on-page foundations handled: clean title tags and meta descriptions written per page, a logical heading structure, local business schema markup, a sitemap submitted to Google, image alt text, and name, address and phone details that exactly match your Google Business Profile.

That gets you technically sound and indexed. Ranking in a competitive Edmonton category also takes an optimised Google Business Profile, genuine reviews, local citations and ongoing content. We will tell you honestly which of those you need and whether you need us to do it. Plenty of clients handle the Google Business Profile themselves once we show them how.

Serving Edmonton and the surrounding area

We work with businesses in Edmonton, St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Leduc, Beaumont, Fort Saskatchewan and Devon, plus clients across Alberta and the rest of Canada who are happy to work over video.

Common questions

How much does a website cost in Edmonton?

Across Edmonton agencies you will see roughly three bands. A template site assembled in Wix or Squarespace runs $800 to $2,000. A custom small business site with real strategy behind it runs $3,500 to $10,000. Anything with e-commerce, memberships, booking logic or custom integrations climbs from there.

Our builds start at $3,500. That number buys a custom design, written copy, mobile optimisation, local SEO setup and a CRM connection. If somebody quotes you $900, they are selling you a template with your logo dropped on it, and you will be paying somebody else to rebuild it in eighteen months.

How long does a website take to build?

Most small business sites take four to six weeks from signed scope to launch. The design and build is rarely the bottleneck. Waiting on your copy approvals, photos and logins is what stretches timelines, which is why we ask for all of it up front and tell you exactly what we need in week one.

If you have a hard deadline, say so on the first call. We will tell you honestly whether it is achievable rather than agreeing and then missing it.

Do you build on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or something custom?

We pick the platform to fit the business, not the other way round. WordPress when you need content volume, plugins or deep SEO control. HighLevel when the site and the sales pipeline should live in the same system. A straightforward static build when speed and simplicity matter more than a page builder.

We will tell you which one we recommend and why, in plain language, before you sign anything. What we will not do is force every client onto the one platform we happen to prefer.

Will I be able to update the website myself?

Yes, and that is deliberate. Every build ends with a handover walkthrough where we show you how to change text, swap photos, add pages and post updates. You get the logins, the documentation and a recording of the walkthrough.

Some clients still want us to handle updates. That is available as an ongoing arrangement, but it is your choice, not a lock-in.

Do you write the copy or do I have to?

We write it. Copy is included in the build price and it is not filler text pushed around to fill the layout. We interview you, learn how you actually describe what you do, and write pages designed to move a reader toward contacting you.

If you have existing copy you love, we will work with it. Most owners are relieved to hand it over.

Do you work with businesses outside Edmonton?

Yes. We are based in Edmonton and work with clients across Alberta and Canada. Local clients get in-person meetings if they want them. Everyone else gets video calls, and the work is identical.

Being Edmonton-based does matter for one thing: local SEO. We know what ranking in this market actually takes, which is different from ranking in Toronto or a town of 4,000.

What happens after launch?

You own it. The domain, the hosting logins, the site files, the content. Nothing is held hostage. If you want us to keep hosting, maintaining and updating it, that is a separate monthly arrangement you can start or stop.

We also set up analytics before launch so you can see what the site is actually doing rather than guessing.

Kat did a great job on my website, including a few tricky customizations. It was great to work with someone clear who has the business in hand and doesn’t make you proof through every single little decision.
